## Known constraints

    The `/contracts` category filter is not yet available. The source `commodity_type` field stores internal codes (`S`, `G`, `C`) rather than a public-facing taxonomy. This field is not exposed in API responses.

  <Accordion title="Vendor name fragmentation">
    Vendor names are not normalised in the CanadaBuys source. The same legal entity may appear under multiple name strings across records. Use the vendor browse endpoint to identify all matching strings before profiling a specific vendor.
